About

Fiona McMahon is a natural born storyteller with years of experience in video production, print journalism, and magazine publishing. She has the ability to create and nurture a creative project from start to finish, and has worked as an editor with SandenWolff to produce content for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and other prominent clients.

Originally from Northampton, Massachusetts, Fiona now lives and works in Boston, focusing on telling stories related to arts, healthcare, and social change. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts Production and a minor in Journalism.

Fiona served as Magazine Editor for The Berkeley Beacon in 2025, where she developed and oversaw production of "Dazed and Confused," a magazine that features 60+ pages of news reporting, prose, editorials, and photography. She was also a Staff Writer for the Arts section of the newspaper, covering local film festivals and cultural events.

Fiona also served as Editor-in-Chief of Black Swan Cultural Magazine in 2024, a literary magazine created and developed by students at Emerson College's Kasteel Well Campus. Throughout a 90 day semester, Fiona developed an editorial strategy while managing a team of journalists, writers, and designers.

Fiona's love for producing doesn't stop there. She served as TV Director for YourMagazine, creating social media content and behind the scenes footage for an award-winning lifestyle magazine. She was also Senior News Editor of The Transcript, a student news broadcast that has won over six New England Emmy Awards.
